HIVE Properties partners with developers, investors, buyers and sellers, to breathe new life into old structures, honoring the past while achieving current potential.  We’ve learned that just beneath the surface of anything is a vibrant story to be told, and continued with a vision and a plan.  That’s what HIVE Properties is all about!

HISTORIC FIREHOUSE NO.16 REIGNITES THE COMMUNITY’S VIBE

Designed by famed architect Samuel Hanford in the 1860s, the historic firehouse closed down due to a fire in 1977 and sat vacant until 2014. Now re-imaged as a dual-purpose retail and residential building, the space is home to layers of original life and welcomes new generations of gathering. Details like the firemen’s original lockers and the hand printed names of the firehouse #16 crew still adorn the walls in honor of their historic roots.

FORMER PONY KEG BECOMES BRIGHT MODERN BEAUTY, BUZZING WITH LIFE.

An old beat up sign that read "Coldest Beer in Cincinnati" was the only remnant that remained of this decaying old pony keg. The once vacant eyesore in the heart of Oakley is now a fresh and modern salon offering open loft-style rental space for beauty professionals ranging from nail technicians to colorists and stylists.
